Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity

 

Lieutenant Colonel Michael Liguori is a native of Philadelphia, PA. He attended the U. S. Naval Academy where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering and a commission in the U. S. Marine Corps in 2002.

After attending The Basic School, Lieutenant Colonel Liguori attended the Logistics Officer Course becoming a logistician. Lieutenant Colonel Liguori’s operational tours as a logistics officer included 5th Battalion/11th Marines and 1st Raider Battalion.

Lieutenant Colonel Michael Liguori also served as a Test Director for Marine Corps Testing and Evaluation Activity evaluating the Oshkosh MTVR Wrecker and Dump Truck variants and Officer in Charge of the Marines Corps Shooting Teams competing at the highest levels of marksmanship. Lieutenant Colonel Liguori deployed with 1st Battalion/5th Marines and 3rd Battalion/1st Marines as a Truck Platoon Commander and Special Operation Task Force-81 as a Logistics Officer.

Lieutenant Colonel Liguori attended the Naval Postgraduate School where he earned a Master of Science in Information Technology Management in 2014. Lieutenant Colonel Liguori’s IT Management tour included serving as a Branch Head in Manpower & Reserves Affairs responsible for overall portfolio and operational management of manpower systems and data with a focus on DevSecOps, Data Center & Network Operations and associated system Information Assurance and Information Management capabilities. Lieutenant Colonel Liguori also severed as the Chief Information Officer and Executive Officer for Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity.

Lieutenant Colonel Liguori holds PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) and Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) Certifications.
