Marine Corps Systems Command Conducts Second Survey, PM ICE requests Marine input on Lightweight Helmet

15 Jun 2007 | Corporate Communications Marine Corps Systems Command

Marine Corps System Command’s (MCSC) Program Manager for Infantry Combat Equipment (PM ICE) is requesting combat Marines provide input concerning their Lightweight Helmet. To continue to enhance the performance and capability of Marine Corps equipment, PM ICE is conducting a Lightweight Helmet Internet survey. To take the survey, Marines should visit http://www.marcorsyscom.usmc.mil/sites/pmice/feedback.asp and click on the link titled “Lightweight Helmet Survey.”

This is the second survey PM ICE is conducting. MCSC announced yesterday that it had recently launched an Internet survey soliciting input from Marines on the current Infantry Combat Boot, both the hot and temperate weather styles. This survey includes such topics as design, fit, comfort, durability and performance. The boot survey is available at http://www.hsisurveys.com/usmc/icbsurvey/icbsurvey.asp?P1=v5ww-tp08-kwc .

PM ICE fields, sustains and assesses clothing and equipment worn by Marines. The program strives to provide high quality products and associated services at the best value to enhance current and future Marine Corps capabilities. Survey results will help PM ICE improve both the Lightweight Helmet and the Infantry Combat Boot.

Surveys such as these continue to reflect the command’s constant support for our dedicated Marines. Links for both surveys can also be found on the command’s website http://www.marcorsyscom.usmc.mil .
