McMichael, the first African American selected as the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, was the guest speaker at MCSC's celebration honoring the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Jan. 17, 2013. The event was hosted by MCSC's Marine Air-Ground Task Force Command, Control and Communications program management office.
