Officer David Wilkinson, a member of the Marine Corps Base Quantico Special Response Team, fires the M45A1 Close Quarters Battle Pistol during a New Equipment Training class April 10. The pistol replaces the Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) .45-caliber pistol, and will be fielded to Marine Corps Special Operations Command, reconnaissance organizations and military police special response teams across the Marine Corps.
