Equipping Our Marines

MCB Quantico, Va.
The Individual Water Purification System II is an upgrade to the current IWPS issued to all Marines. The handheld, tube-like water purification system provides individual Marines with the ability to quickly obtain drinkable water on the go without the need of power and assembly. IWPS II will allow Marines to be able to instantly quench their thirst in isolated locations or emergency situations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Amber Blanchard)
