KAHUKU'S TRAINING AREA, Hawaii - An infantry Marine from 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment conducts patrols wearing a prototype tropical utility uniform Oct. 5, during a Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation exercise at Kahuku’s Training Area, Hawaii. More than 400 Marines from 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines wore the prototype uniform and boots as part of a Marine Corps Systems Command Field User Evaluation to test the durability, fit and function of the items in a tropical environment.
