Quantico, VA - Deidre Hooks, enhanced combat helmet team lead at Marine Corps Systems Command, fits the ECH onto Gunnery Sgt. Jose Hernandez of the MCSC Operations Cell. The helmet passed many stringent test protocols and will be fielded to deploying Marines in the first quarter of fiscal 2014.
