MCTSSA & SPAWAR Join Testing Federation

Colonel Christopher Snyder, Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity’s Commanding Officer (left), and Captain Bryan Lopez, Executive Officer for the U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (right) formally sign Memorandum of Understandings that partnered their service’s various test facilities and capabilities with the U.S. Army’s Central Technical Support Facility, thus becoming the latest members to join the Federation of Net-Centric Sites (FaNS). Officiating the FaNS certification event held at Camp Pendleton on May 22nd was Mr. Steven Roscoe, Director of System-of-System Integration and Interoperability, Office of the Army Chief Information Officer. The FaNS network is designed to allow the Army to grow its real-time integration and interoperability testing capabilities by leveraging existing testing facilities inside and outside the Army.
