Marine Corps Systems Command

Equipping Our Marines

Infantry Weapon Systems equips and sustains the Marine Corps with fully integrated infantry weapons and related systems. We identify and manage resources necessary for acquisition of required capabilities. We develop, test and field weapons and equipment that are operationally effective and suitable to meet the needs of our primary customer, the Marine. We plan and execute the in-service support of fielded equipment, in partnership with Logistics Command and other stakeholders, in order to ensure it is available for our Marines when needed. We do this so Marines are “most ready when the Nation is least ready.”
