Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV)

The JLTV is a joint Army/Marine Corps program procuring the next generation of light tactical vehicles and companion trailers. JLTVs provide improve mobility, payload and survivability through armor enhancements. The JLTV will eventually replace all of the legacy High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) fleet.

The ULTV enhances infantry, reconnaissance, and logistics mobility and sustainability via a lightweight MV-22 internally transportable vehicle for use during operations in an anti-access/area denial (A2AD) environment where currently fielded ground mobility platforms may be unsuitable due to size, weight, and transportability. The ULTV is currently replacing the Utility Task Vehicle (UTV), which is nearing the end of its lifecycle.

The Light Tactical Trailers (M1102-MCC and M1102-H) are designed to be towed behind the HMMWV and support a variety of operations.

The Joint Light Tactical Trailer is a multipurpose platform configured to support general purpose cargo and tactical generator mobility missions and is designed to be towed behind the JLTV. It comes standard with a variety of features such as a weight rating of 9,000 lbs., 147 cubic feet of storage space, and a 12-volt electrical connection point making it compatible with NATO allies in combined future operations.
