About Us

Systems Engineering & Acquisition Logistics provides centralized guidance and program advocacy for portfolio and program engineering and logistics matters in order to enable successful portfolio planning and execution.

Engineering and logistics are core acquisition disciplines that critically impact a program's success. The alignment of Systems Engineering & Acquisition Logistics under a single umbrella enables systems integration and facilitates modernization of systems in operations and sustainment across the MAGTF. Marine Corps Systems Command's SEAL staff supports design, technical processes, data packages, independent verification, and sustainment across each program's entire life cycle.
 

Programs

Systems Engineering

With more than 450 engineers, scientists and information technology professionals, SE supports the design, development, testing, and fielding of Marine Corps systems supporting America’s Marines. SE provides support in the disciplines of Cyber Security; Developmental Test and Evaluation; Science and Technology; Engineering, Information Technology; and Safety; as well as specialized engineering services such as Modeling and Simulation; Transportability; and Spectrum Management.

SE also coordinates with the Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity, the Amphibious Vehicle Test Branch, Naval labs, research centers and other federally-funded research and development centers to prioritize and meet technical demand for staff and developmental facilities.

Systems Engineering provides a full range of technical expertise and applies systems engineering to achieve successful portfolio and program outcomes.

Acquisition Logistics & Product Support

Acquisition Logistics and Product Support helps stimulate innovation, and fosters efficient and effective logistics strategies that support the program manager and, ultimately, Marines and warfighting customers. ALPS assists the program executive officers, enterprise partners and stakeholders to ensure the best value of products and services are delivered on time and on target, while providing the best cost to government.
