Assistant Program Manager for Cost
Greg Seavers

Greg Seavers has been the functional lead for Cost Analysis with the Program Manager for Training Systems since December 2009.  In May of 2024, the position was redesignated as the Assistant Program Manager for Cost.  In this role, he leads the team responsible for all areas of cost analysis.

A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Mr. Seavers grew up in Huntsville, Alabama, and graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 1988 obtaining a Bachelor of Science Major in Finance with a Minor in Economics.

Mr. Seavers began his career as a cost analyst in June 1989 as a defense contractor with Hilton Systems, Inc., supporting the Pedestal Mounted Stinger (Avenger) and the Fiber Optic Guided Missile at US Army Missile Command.  During this time, he also supported the Patriot Missile and Comanche Programs. 

In April 1991, Mr. Seavers joined The Analytical Sciences Corporation (TASC) to provide cost analysis support to the Ground Based Sensor Radar.  His efforts directly supported the research, development, testing, evaluation, procurement, and sustainment costs of the weapon system.  In 1992, Mr. Seavers also began supporting the US Army Simulation Training and Instrumentation Command (STRICOM), the predecessor to Program Executive Office for Simulation Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI).  In 1996, Mr. Seavers moved to Orlando, Florida, to set up a cost analysis office for TASC supporting STRICOM and provided cost analysis support for all major programs including the Close Combat Tactical Trainer, the Warfighter Simulator 2000, WARSIM 2000 Intelligence Module, Joint Simulation System, Intelligence Electronic Warfare Troop Proficiency Trainer, Aviation Combined Arms Tactical Trainer, Live, Virtual, Constructive Integrating Architecture, Multiple Integrated Laster Engagement System, and One Tactical Engagement Simulation System.

In 2003, Mr. Seavers began supporting USMC PM TRASYS.  In April 2004, Mr. Seavers left TASC and joined MKI Systems to fully support USMC PM TRASYS.  From April 2004 to December 2009, Mr. Seavers supported the APM Live (now known as Product Manager for Ranges) as the Business Manager.

Mr. Seavers holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Webster University as well as DAWIA certifications in Business Cost Estimating Level 3, and Finance Level 1.  He is a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps and a certified cost estimator/analyst with the International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association (ICEAA).

Mr. Seavers is married to Dr. Victoria Anne Bilz Seavers, and they have two children, Caitlyn and William.
