The Marine Corps Program Executive Officer Land Systems is expected to deliver 144 Utility Task Vehicles to the regiment-level starting in February 2017. The rugged all-terrain vehicle can carry up to four Marines or be converted to haul 1,500 pounds of supplies. With minimal armor and size, the UTV can quickly haul extra ammunition and provisions, or injured Marines, while preserving energy and stealth. Total Force Structure Management System is the robust enterprise system that receives, processes, stores and disseminates force structure information for the entire Marine Corps. This information depicts how a specific unit is organized in terms of number, types of personnel and associated equipment in order to perform assigned missions. Data is then used by leaders at all levels to determine current and future strategic needs. The Target Handoff System Version 2, or THS V.2, is a portable system designed for use by dismounted Marines to locate targets, pinpoint global positioning coordinates and call for close air, artillery and naval fire support using secure digital communications. Marine Corps Systems Command Combat Support Systems Equipment Exchange Initiative is exploring new ways to get Marines the equipment they need faster. MCSC initiated the program in 2014 to maximize opportunities to trade-in equipment for more modern replacements at no additional cost to the Corps. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Marine Corps Systems Command is working with the Navy to update the Enhanced Flame Resistant Combat Ensemble, the latest upgrade to the Corps’ Flame Resistant Combat Ensemble. EFRCE is made with a new flame resistant material blend that allows the uniform to self-extinguish, reducing the incidence and severity of burn injuries. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by GySgt Ezekiel R. The CAT quickly analyzes, distinguishes, prioritizes and tracks cyber acquisition processes in order to provide more responsive and effective support to Marine Corps cyber forces.
