Master Sgt. Kevin Morris, project officer for Marine Corps Water Systems at Marine Corps Systems Command, prepares the Individual Water Purification System II for safe, drinkable water straight from the source. IWPS II is an upgrade to the current IWPS issued to all Marines. The handheld, tube-like water purification system provides individual Marines with the ability to quickly obtain drinkable water on the go without the need of power and assembly. IWPS II will allow Marines to be able to instantly quench their thirst in isolated locations or emergency situations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Ashley Calingo) - Master Sgt.
