An M1A1 Abrams tank is off-loaded from the USNS 2nd Lt. John P. Bobo April 19 off the shore of Pohang, Republic of Korea. The tank was loaded onto a logistics support vessel for transport to shore. The Joint Integration and Transportability Branch in Marine Corps Systems Command’s Systems Engineering Interoperability Architectures and Technology office works with the Navy to ensure Marines and their systems are able to move smoothly from operations aboard Navy ships directly into operations ashore.
