KAHUKU'S TRAINING AREA, Hawaii - Marines from 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment conduct patrols wearing prototype tropical utility uniforms Oct. 5, during a Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation exercise at Kahuku's Training Area, Hawaii. More than 400 Marines from 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines wore the prototype tropical utility uniforms and boots as part of a Marine Corps Systems Command Field User Evaluation to test the durability, fit and function of the items in a tropical environment.
