MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO, Va. - Marines and civilian acquisition professionals pose with a stainless-steel 3D-printed impeller in Twentynine Palms, California. In January 2019, Marine Corps Systems Command reviewed the results of 3D printed impellers with over 100-hours of use on Abrams tanks, confirming that a 3D-printed impeller can be a reliable alternative to the original part.
