New York City - Then-Sgt. Emanuel “Manny” Pacheco learning the recruiting ropes from a fellow Marine in Times Square, New York City, in 1987. Pacheco’s illustrious 40-year career included a stint as a Public Affairs non-commissioned officer for Recruiting Station New York. Pacheco retired at a ceremony held at the National Museum of the Marine Corps Museum in Triangle, Va., on March 8, 2023.
