QUANTICO, Va. - NWS Yorktown work leader Team 2 Latronda Curry, explains how the weapons are marked and stored in the magazine to Ammo Product Manager Melvin Miller and Christian Zwileneff, May 22, 2025. The Magazine has a maximum capacity of 60 missiles and currently houses 39 Tomahawk missiles. Product Management Officials were offered the opportunity at Naval Weapons Station Yorktown to tour the storage, maintenance, and testing of new ground ammunition weapons systems. The tour brought together military and civilian personnel from Product Management offices for Ammunition, HIMARS, and Navy/Marine Expeditionary Ship Interdiction Systems, fostering collaboration and enabling cross-program comparisons.
