MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO, Va. - Guest speaker and former Marine Corps Systems Command Sergeant Major, Sgt. Maj. Robin Fortner, retired, spoke at the Acquisition Excellence Awards about the importance of teamwork within the acquisition workforce for the Marine warfighter at Marine Base Quantico, Va., Aug. 20, 2025. Wednesday’s ceremony marked the 21st anniversary of the Acquisition Excellence Awards. The professional achievements of four individuals will also be recognized at the Marine Corps Association Acquisition Awards on Sept. 18, 2025.
