The Contracts Directorate is responsible for the timely, responsive and efficient procurement of weapons, information technology, transportation and gear for the Marine Corps. Contracts are executed in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and the Navy Marine Corps Acquisition Regulation Supplement (NMCARS) to ensure that Marines are equipped and that tax dollars are spent in the most cost-effective manner.
The Contracts Directorate supports eight Program Management Offices, Program Executive Officer Land Systems and several independent Program Management Offices. In addition to MCSC organizations at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., the Contracts Directorate also provides resident support to MCSC programs at other geographic locations including Orlando, Florida, and Camp Pendleton, California.
